Linda and I are working together to create unique Wind Bells, examples of
which are displayed below. The bells are a functional piece of art and each
is hand painted by Linda in a variety of original styles. They are constructed
by recycling scrap or used gas cylinders and old corrugated tin roofing. They
create a beautiful sound which can be slightly altered by the use of different
clappers (oak, or soft and hard rubber are available options). These bells
are very durable and will far outlast typical wind chimes. They are painted
with acrylic or outdoor enamel and are clear-coated for protection. The bells
are 4-1/4 in diameter. The larger size is approximately 42” long overall and
weighs 10-12 lbs. The smaller bells are about 28” long and weigh 6-7 lbs.
